Improved Security Phase 2

In response to several of our clients and consultation with a data security specialist, we are upgrading MacNairPort security to better protect your personal and company level information. We are doing this in two phases.

On October 2, 2008 we implemented the first phase of our security improvements. This consisted of automatically logging the client off after 60 minutes, so that unauthorized persons cannot access your account information in the event that a PC was left unattended and logged into MacNairport. All logon and password information is cleared when clients logoff of MacNairport.

In Phase 2, we remember the login portion of the login sequence. The password remains cleared. This facilitates the login process for our users, while still providing improved security.

It should be noted, that clients can enable browsers to remember and manage logins and passwords. Clients concerned about security, and wanting to implement our new security features, should ensure that these browser options are disabled.
